Dancing on the beach
Life is better
at the Beach.
A Happening that turnd out viral
A day at the beach is always something special. So why not combine two beloved things and drive to the beach in an Elfer? We were there when this hype took off on Rømø beach in 2021.
If this Porsche community stands for anything, it is the genuine enjoyment of the vehicles and iconic images that have never been seen before. In 2021, Blazej Zulawski from Classicdriver grabbed his camera and, together with a group of driving enthusiasts, created a trend that continues to this day.
In 2021, as we were traveling by ferry from the island of Sylt back to the mainland, one of the craziest ideas in a long time came to mind. Blazej Zulawski (@zulaw.ski), who was visiting the island with us, was still searching for a very special motif. A motif that had never been seen before. We knew that vehicles were allowed on the beach at Rømø, but what happened next was unexpected.
This beach is one of Denmark's most famous car beaches. On weekends, it transforms into a lively paradise for families, kite flyers, and sunbathers, and for drivers, it's a place to play with sand and tides. So why not do it today with a bunch of Porsches — no one has done it yet.
Now it's one of the must-haves
after a visit to Sylt.

The kilometre-long sand track, two handfuls of wild classic Porsches, and the playful spirit of 10-year-olds transformed the beach into a giant sandbox that day. Epic shots of the vehicles racing across the track in Mad Max style and dancing little 911s digging their circles into the sand surface with great spectacle. Beachgoers watching the game from the sidelines had no idea what was happening when the horde suddenly flew across the beach like a swarm of locusts. We are sure it was Blazej Zulawski's wish to create epic images – but he could not have known that with this idea he would start a lasting trend for Porsche drivers.
Our tip: Instead of taking the car train, leave the island of Sylt by ferry and turn left onto the beach immediately after leaving the harbour — it's an experience you simply have to try.
